Police closed the inside lane of the A14 at Bury St Edmunds as they helped to recover a broken-down horsebox yesterday.
The horsebox broke down on the A14 in the eastbound direction near the Westley Interchange, at junction 42.
Police were called at about 10.50am on Thursday.
The horsebox broke down whilst carrying some horses, which were still on board the vehicle.
Officers were at the scene to aid with the recovery of the vehicle.
