A road has reopened after a car is believed to have driven into a trench in a set of roadworks.
Officers were called to the A143 in Stanton, outside of the former Rose & Crown pub, at about 8.15am on Monday.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said the car allegedly drove into the trench, despite the road being blocked by roadworks.
Roadworks are taking place in the village near Bury St Edmunds until October 7, according to one.network.
