A Suffolk restaurant has announced a catering company designed to be "the perfect marriage of culinary expertise and operational excellence".

Chef director Lee Bye and restaurant manager Will Reyner at Tuddenham Mill have joined forces to launch a bespoke catering company named Spindle Catering. 

Tuddenham Mill is the only restaurant in Suffolk with four AA Rosettes.

Named after the water mill wheel at Tuddenham, Spindle Catering is set to combine the culinary expertise of Mr Bye with the service experience of Mr Reyner.

Mr Bye said: "We’re all thrilled to announce Spindle Catering, an exciting new string to the Tuddenham Mill bow.

"Whether you want a special dinner with friends at home, a fun family party, a celebration of life, or a corporate gathering, we will do everything we can to meet and exceed your expectations.

"We’re up for the challenge!"

While predominantly East Anglian-based, the company also advertises UK-wide services for any kind of celebration - whether an intimate dinner for a few friends or a huge wedding reception. 

Menus are tailored for every event - from a relaxed garden barbecue with ex-dairy beef sliders with Orriss & Son hot sauce to a small dinner party with a rich venison Wellington served with a full-bodied Malbec.

"We’re not a ‘one size fits all’ catering service," said Mr Bye.

"It’s bespoke from the first conversation to the moment the last guest leaves.

"You’ll find less expensive caterers, but Spindle Catering is about taking the food, drinks and service at outside events to the next level and sprinkling them with the Tuddenham Mill magic."

Spindle Catering will be run in addition to the standard offering at Tuddenham Mill, so fans of the restaurant with rooms need not fear.
