Two people have been taken to hospital following a crash on the A14 in west Suffolk, police have said.
Suffolk police was called at about 2.30pm on Wednesday to reports of a crash on the A14 heading eastbound between junctions 40 and 41 near Kentford, outside Newmarket.
A car had hit the central reservation barrier and spun out to hit another vehicle.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service has now confirmed that a woman and a child have been taken by land ambulance to West Suffolk Hospital in Bury St Edmunds.
A spokeswoman for Suffolk police said that the injuries the pair suffered do not appear to be life-threatening or life-changing but the two people are receiving further assessment and care in hospital.

National Highways tweeted that the collision involved a car and two lorries.
Traffic on the eastbound side of the A14 was closed between junction 37 for Newmarket and junction 40 for Barrow while police worked to clear the debris and make the scene safe for other drivers.
The road has now reopened and traffic is starting to recover in the area.
