Torrential rain brought flooding and disruption to roads across Suffolk yesterday.
After heavy rainfall on Tuesday night, many roads across Suffolk were left underwater - leaving drivers to find alternative routes.
Suffolk Highways was called to a number of incidents of flooding on Tuesday and Wednesday.
A spokesman said: "There are various locations of surface flooding on roads across the county, due to heavy rain."
Drivers were being urged to allow for extra time if they were planning to travel on the county's roads.
Heavy rainfall on Tuesday saw a number of streets across the county flooded, including in Ashcroft Road in north Ipswich.
Water was seen spilling out onto the road from a drain, quickly spreading across the street.
Nursery Road in Great Cornard, near Sudbury, was flooded during heavy downpours on Wednesday.
The conditions also forced the Women's Suffolk FA Cup final to be suspended at Portman Road due to torrential downpours.
The game between AFC Sudbury Women and Stowupland Falcons was temporarily paused by officials on Tuesday night.
Videos posted on social media showed water gushing from the stadium roof onto the pitch and seats below.
An emergency road closure was installed due to flooding along the B1078 Needham Road in Coddenham on Wednesday.
Drivers were being asked to find alternative routes while the road was cleared.
On Tuesday, a road in Bramford became flooded during the extreme rainfall.
Water was seen gushing down Fitzgerald Road in the village, on the outskirts of Ipswich, on Tuesday night.
On Wednesday the road was then covered in mud that had washed off from a nearby field.
Also on Wednesday the B1066 in Bury St Edmunds became blocked by a fallen tree.
The tree came down on a blind bend on the road and drivers were forced to find alternative routes while workmen cleared the area.
