There were delays on the A14 in west Suffolk due to a car fire.
Emergency services were alerted to the blaze on the eastbound carriageway at Risby, between Newmarket and Bury St Edmunds, at about 8.25am on Monday.
A spokesman for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said the vehicle was "well-alight".
The AA Traffic Map was showing heavy traffic in the area.
Delays have since cleared.
