A mountain bike was stolen from a shed and a woodchipper was taken from a garage after a spate of recent thefts of heavy machinery and goods in Suffolk.
Police are appealing for information after a shed was broken into in Laxfield, near Halesworth in north-east Suffolk, this week and a mountain bike and a generator was stolen near Bury St Edmunds.
A police spokesman confirmed an orange Carrera mountain bike was taken from a shed at a property in Gorams Mill Lane between 8.30pm on Tuesday, June 18 and 7am on Wednesday, June 19.

The thieves reportedly forced the lock on the shed door open to gain access and steal the bike.
Earlier in the month, it was also reported that a Eastonmade Box Wedge Splitter was stolen from a garage in Culford, near Bury St Edmunds.

Police say the log splitter was stolen sometime between Thursday, June 6 and Tuesday, June 11.
Police have warned business owners and residents to secure sheds and garages with proper locks and to use ground anchors for equipment and goods if possible.

They have also advised all owners to check that their insurance covers the contents of their sheds and garages with their providers.
A spokesperson also warned that all heavy machinery being kept outside should be properly secured.
This comes after a generator was also recently stolen from a property near Bury St Edmunds.

The generator, which was attached to a vehicle on Dettingen Way, was stolen at 2pm on Wednesday, June 19.
Thieves reportedly broke the locks on the generator and took the generator away from the area before the owner returned at 2.30pm.
Police are appealing for information on these incidents and anyone with information should contact them, quoting reference numbers 37/34251/24, 37/32585/24 and 37/34272/24 in order of the cases listed above.
