Roadworks in Suffolk drivers should be aware of this week

Roadworks are once again taking place in Suffolk this week.

Here are places to avoid on your journey around the county.

Ipswich Road in Bildeston will be closed from 8pm on Friday to 5am on Saturday.

While the road is closed Suffolk Highways will be carrying out urgent works.

A 20-mile diversion route will be in place while the road is closed.

Bergholt Road in Bentley will be closed from Monday until July 11 to allow County Broadband to carry out urgent works.

While the road is closed a short diversion route will be in place.

The B1125 near Yoxford will be closed between 9.30am and 3.30pm from Wednesday, July 3 until Monday, July 8.

A short diversion route will be in place while the road is closed.

Hawthorn Road in Theberton will be closed from Monday until Wednesday, July 10.

A four-mile diversion route will be in place while the road is closed.

The B1079 in Otley Bottom will be closed until July 23 while Suffolk Highways carries out urgent works.

While the road is closed a 20-mile diversion route is in place, which is expected to add on around 40 minutes to peoples journeys.
