New homes could be built in a village under recent proposals from a charity.
Plans to build residential dwellings in Chedburgh, near Bury St Edmunds, were submitted to West Suffolk Council by The Henry Smith Charity.
The charity provides grants and aims to use its resources to help people and communities across the country.
Under the proposals, nine new homes will be built on the land south of Queens Lane.

In a planning statement submitted alongside the application, it said the plans include "construction of residential dwellings with associated open space, children's play provisions, landscaping, highways and drainage infrastructure works".
A new road proposed in the application would be narrowed to allow a mature oak tree to be the focal point of the site and a pedestrian bridge would be built over a ditch to link the new homes with the existing homes in Tudor Close.
A consultation response from Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said a required condition for the new development is the installation of fire hydrants.
The number of affordable homes will be decided at a later date.
