A yellow heat heatlh has been extended for the East of England including Suffolk.
UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) and the Met Office said the alert will come into place from 9am on Sunday, August 11.
Initially the alert was supposed to end on Tuesday, August 13 but it has been extended to be in place until 9am on Wednesday, August 14.
Parts of the county are expected to reach over the 25C threshold over three consecutive days with some towns in west Suffolk, like Newmarket and Bury St Edmunds are forecast to reach temperatures above 30C on Monday, August 12.
It is the second heat health alert to be issued for the county after a similar warning was issued at the end of July.

The East of England has been issued a yellow warning with significant impacts "possible across the health and social care sector due to the high temperatures."
This includes a "likely increase" in mortality across the population particularly in those over the age of 65 or those with health conditions but younger age groups could also be impacted.
