A Bury St Edmunds care home is opening its doors to those wishing to learn more about dementia.
Care UK's Davers Court on Shakers Lane, will host the session on Monday, September 2, between 10am and 12pm,
The aim of the event is to discuss dementia-related topics which aren't usually touched upon, primarily for the benefit of those taking care of a person living with dementia.
The session plans to provide practical advice on the nature of dementia, reasons behind the loss of memories and pointers on handling communication issues and understanding positive aspects of living with the condition.
