A new coffee and wine bar looks set to open in Bury St Edmunds as a licencing application has been submitted.
West Suffolk Council has received a premises licence application for 46a Abbeygate Street, set to be called Blend @ No 46.
In documents to the council, co-owners Michael Box and Kristina Tutt said the unit will be used as a coffee shop and deli during the day, selling homemade products with local suppliers used where possible.
They state that in the evenings they will open as a wine and cocktail bar serving "light plates to accompany the drinks".
The venue would have 22 seats inside and three stools at the front window, with 19 seats in the back of the shop.
The form says: "We plan to be open all daytimes and then Friday and Saturday evening's but would like a licence for all evenings of the week in the case of private hire.
"We will not operate after 11pm to avoid any public nuisance and noise caused to our neighbours and the local community."
They have applied for permission to sell alcohol between 8am and 11pm, which would also be their opening hours.
