A proposal has been put forward for a million pound solar investment in a west Suffolk town.
West Suffolk Council Cabinet will meet later this month to discuss the plans for one of the Mildenhall Hub's car parks.
Up to £1.3million will be invested from the council's Decarbonisation Fund to install solar photovoltaic canopies in the car park which could save £152,000 and 152 tonnes of carbon dioxide per year.
The installation of the canopies will aid in reducing the Hub's reliance on grid electricity while also providing sheltered parking from the rain and sun.

West Suffolk Council has said the initiative is expected to deliver a positive return for taxpayers which can be invested back into other public service and is forecast to be cost neutral in 15 years.
Cllr Gerald Kelly, portfolio holder for governance, regulatory and environment, said: "Once again West Suffolk Council is delivering on its strategic priorities by turning out aims for environmental resilience into reality.
"If given the go ahead this scheme will produce renewable energy that reduces the production of carbon dioxide emissions harmful to the climate and saves taxpayers' money as well as helping other public bodies.
"This builds on our expertise and successful delivery of schemes such as the solar farm at Toggam and Solar for Business which have helped more than 90 businesses and prevented 3,957 tonnes of carbon dioxide from being released into the atmosphere."
