Drivers are being warned of road closures that could add more time to their journeys this week, including on the A14 and Orwell Bridge.
Here are some road closures to be aware of.
A14 Orwell Bridge
Part of the Orwell Bridge will be closed overnight from Tuesday to Wednesday morning while National Highways carries out urgent works.
A lane closure has been in place on the westbound carriageway for over a week after a "potential defect" was found during a routine inspection.
Now National Highways has said a full westbound carriageway closure will be needed to fix the issue.
While the road is closed between 9pm and 5am, a diversion route will be in place.
Further Street, Assington
Further Street between Assington and Newton Green, near Sudbury, will be closed between Monday until September 21.
The road will be closed between 8pm and 5am while Suffolk Highways carries out urgent work.
Road closures for Ipswich Half Marathon
A number of roads across the town will be closed for the Larking Gowen Ipswich Half Marathon on Sunday, September 22.
Road closures begin an hour before the event begins but parking closures should be expected from 6pm on the Saturday before until 1.30pm on the Sunday.
A full list of the roads closed can be found here.
Candlet Road, Felixstowe
Candlet Road in Felixstowe is expected to remain closed until November 10 while Suffolk Highways carries out works.
The closure is needed to create a roundabout which will serve a Bloor Homes development of 368 homes and will act as an entrance to the 2,000-home North Felixstowe Garden Neighbourhood.
Linstead Road, Cookley Green
Linstead Road in Cookley Green, near Halesworth, will be closed between 9.30am and 3.30pm on Tuesday while Openreach carries out works.
While the road is closed, a 22-mile diversion route will be in place and is expected to add on about 45 minutes to people's journeys.
