Plans to add new classrooms and expand a school's current dining space have been revealed.

A consultation is now open into proposals to extend parts of Mildenhall College Academy, in Sheldrick Way.

This could see seven new classrooms, offices and extra dining space added if the plans go ahead.

The extension, which is due to open in January 2026, will replace the temporary classrooms currently on site - but will not increase pupil numbers.

Cllr Andrew Reid, cabinet member for education and SEND at Suffolk County Council, said: “This extension will make a significant difference to pupils and staff at Mildenhall Academy.
