To celebrate the opening, the store will host a special launch event the following weekend on October 5.

Allan Hassell, centre manager at arc Shopping Centre, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Oliver Bonas to arc Shopping Centre and look forward to seeing our shoppers enjoy this marvellous new addition to Bury St Edmunds.

"I know Oliver Bonas has been eagerly anticipated by the local community, and I’m delighted that we have been able to strengthen our retail mix to the benefit of our customers.”

"The open-air complex, modern street-scape and vibe of the town makes it a great place for Oliver Bonas.

"We look forward to welcoming customers into our new store very soon."

This comes after Phase Eight moved into the arc from its former Abbeygate Street location in favour of a larger premises.

Other recent additions to the arc shopping centre include Primark which moved into the former Debenhams in March, and Deichmann which opened in the former Peacocks in July.
