Suffolk is set for a week of unsettled weather as the remnants of Hurricane Kirk makes its way across the Atlantic.
Heavy rain and strong winds are expected to hit the county as the week goes on.
While Hurricane Kirk caused catastrophic damage to parts of America parts of the UK is being braced for gale force winds.
According to the Met Office wind speeds could reach up to 40mph along parts of the Suffolk coast.
Heavy downpours are also expected throughout the week.
A spokesman for the Met Office said there is a possibility of thunderstorms on Tuesday.
As we move into the week Thursday is expected to be cloudy with rain and brisk winds along the coast.
It comes after the county was battered by strong winds and heavy downpours in late September which led to roads across Suffolk flooding.
