A Bury St Edmunds estate has thrown open its pumpkin field for the fourth year in a row.
Rougham Estate's pumpkin patch - off the A14 - features 20 different varieties and shapes and sizes of pumpkins, gourds and squashes to choose from and load into loaned wheelbarrows.
Children can run about and climb straw bales and there is space to picnic with deckchairs, sandpits, ice cream, pedal tractors and small pumpkin games for the family, as well as face painting.
The pumpkin patch - which is open weekends and half term and some evenings - includes photo opportunities and an array of food trucks including a bar.
Picnicking is encouraged and Wrights are back with posh toasties and a licensed bar.
Chestnut Trailers is selling waffles and Shakes, What the Peck is making Suffolk fried chicken and other stalls include Pimp my Fish, Bad Boi Burritos, Tikka Tonic for Delhi style street food, Suffolk Smoke Company for loaded fries, and Saffron Artisan Ice Cream.
On two Saturday evenings – October 12 and 26 – the Rougham Pumpkin Patch will stay open from 5:30pm to 9.30pm for a pumpkin festival at night.
They will feature twinkly lights, fire pits, S’mores for toasting, music and tasty food provided by Wrights and What The Peck. No pre-booking is needed but visitors are encouraged to bring torches and wear wellies.
There will be a chance to boogie on down to a silent disco held in the marquee.
Availability of headsets is limited and visitors are encouraged to reserve them through eventbrite at £5/adult, free for children.
The opening times during half term are 9am to 5pm daily from Saturday, October 26 to Thursday, October 31.
