The owners of a sandwich shop feel 'violated' after a break in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Two cash boxes, a laptop and a work phone were stolen from Sammidge Stackers in Bury St Edmunds, leaving the sandwich shop unable to receive orders.

Owner Nichola McAllister, said: "We locked up on Friday and got a call from the rugby club chairman that someone had kicked through the panelling of the front door.

"We feel violated, we put so much work into this place.

"Opening on Monday was horrible and uncomfortable, but we put our big girl pants on and got through."
