A person was taken to hospital after a crash left a car on its side near a Suffolk town.
Police were called to the crossroads between Livermere Road and Mill Road, in Great Barton, near Bury St Edmunds, at around 11.15am on Thursday to reports of a crash between a car and a van.

On arrival, officers found that a car was on its side following the collision and another car had been damaged.
Suffolk Fire and Rescue and East of England Ambulance Services were also at the scene.

Police say a person was trapped in the car and a crew helped to safely extract the person from the car.
Two ambulances were sent to the scene and a person was taken to West Suffolk Hospital for further care.
