There were delays on the A14 in west Suffolk after a crash caused damage to the central reservation.
Police were called to the eastbound carriageway at about 12.40am on Friday following reports that a lorry had crashed.
A full carriageway closure was put in place on the eastbound carriageway during the early hours of the morning, but this has since been lifted.
One lane in both the eastbound and westbound carriageway was closed while National Highways carried out repairs.
There were also long delays in the eastbound carriageway near the Westley turn-off at junction 44 of the A14 due to a vehicle fire.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said that the vehicle was on fire in the exit slip of the A14 but was not affecting the main carriageway.
Recovery for the vehicle was called.
The AA traffic map is showing the road to be clear.
